Library Rules
Mere text book study does not make a versatile personality. So due importance is given to extra reading. Periods are assigned for library reading and special exercises based on it. Books are issued to the students from the library.
Library Rules:
- Student are expected to take sufficient care of the library books. Books marked, disfigured, damaged or lost will have to be replaced or paid by the borrower.
- It is strictly forbidden to write any remarks or underline words in the books. If there are such in a book already, they should be brought to the notice of the Librarian immediately on receiving the book, NOT LATER.
- Before asking for a new book, students should have the old book duly crossed in the register.
- Books will not be issued during the vacations.
- Students should not borrow school library books from one another.
- Students are not allowed to bring their own books or any other personal belongings to the library. The student’s handbook may however, be taken for the purpose of making notes.
- All should see that an atmosphere of silence and seriousness is maintained in the library at all times.
- Only one book at a time will be issued. A book may be retained only for 7 days, after which a fine of Rs.10/- per day will be charged if the borrower fails to return the book.
- Students must put the books or magazines back one the same numbered self after reading to maintain order or organization in the library.
