School Fee

*Admission fee will be deposited in the School Office.

*School fee will be deposited in the Indian Bank, Dhimrapur Chowk by parents in four Installments.

*The Parents will have to submit the school copy of bank fee slip in the school Office.

Attendance is compulsory on the following days

(In addition to the regular classes)

  1. Michael’s Day
  2. Independence Day
  3. Republic Day
  4. Annual Function and Prize Giving Ceremony.
  5. Annual Sports Meet and all the days on which games are held.
  6. Any other school function/day deemed important by the school. No leave may be granted for these days.

Absence and Late Coming​

  1. The students are expected to be regular in attending the school.
  2. In case of absence from school. Information must be sent to the school duly signed by the students and parents.
  3. Leave during examination days can only be sanctioned under extra ordinary circumstances and that also with the prior permission of the Principal before it is availed.
  4. Parents must see that the child comes to school on time and is taken home immediately after the dismissal.

Parents are required to

  1. Check haircut, uniform, handkerchief, lunch box, water bottle, bags etc. before sending their wards to school.
  2. The parents are requested to check Hand Book whether the home task assigned is done by their wards or not.
  3. The medium of instruction in the school is English. Parents are requested to encourage their children to speak English.
  4. Any comment regarding students work/conduct may be communicated by the parents through his/her Hand Book.
  5. Parents/guardians are requested not to disturb the studiers of their children by taking them away in between the session on or during the study hours.
  6. Other than the parent-Teacher meet day, the Teachers may be contacted on any working day after class hours with prior appointment.

Parents Teacher Co-operation

  1. The success of the school depends on the co-operation of parents and teachers. The parents/guardians are requested to keep close contact with the school authorities to maintain a high standard of discipline and study. They are to insist upon the regular attendance, punctuality diligence at the home tasks, neatness and cleanliness of the books and personal appearance of their wards. They are specially requested to go through the hand book in general and check the progress report, the regularity record and the Hand Book (for home tasks) in particular. They should also see the time table of the examination and prepare the wards. Parents/guardians are requested not to distract the teachers or the pupils from their duty by visits during the class hours. All dealings shall be conducted through the office of the school.

    The valuable suggestions of the parents/guardians are earnestly expected and for that may make use of the notification page of the Hand Book or contact personally.

Kindergarten

Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 Noon

Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Std. 1 and Above

Monday to Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 Noon

Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Note: No School business will be transacted on Holy Days and after School hours.

Conduct and Discipline

  1. Admission to St. Michael’s Eng. Med. School implies willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school in the part of the pupil and the parents.
  2. Whenever students come to the school, they must wear the school uniform prescribed for the season. All the students must come to school clean and tidy. Those who are not dressed in uniform may be taken disciplinary action. However in exceptional circumstances a student who is unable to wear the complete uniform, would be allowed to attend the school provided a request is made by the parent in his/her Hand book for valid reason.
  3. Students must reach the school at least by 7:30 a.m.
  4. Irregular attendance habitual idleness, neglect of homework disobedience and disrespect towards the members of the staff and negative influence will lead to dismissal from the school. The pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school.
  5. Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without the principal’s permission. Parents are not allowed to see their children or teachers during school hours except with the prior permission of the principal.
  6. Vehicles will not be allowed in the school premises for safety reasons.
  7. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phone, money and ornaments to school and they are forbidden to come with any “Make-ups”.
  8. Students are not allowed to bring motor cycle/scooters/mopeds to school without valid license.

Personal Belongings and School Properties

  1. Students are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings. Everything must bear the pupil’s name. The books must be covered with brown paper and bear the pupil’s name and class on the outer cover and the inner page. School will not take responsibility if a student loses money/articles.
  2. Daily requirements and tiffin have to be brought to the school by the students. No items will be accepted at the school counter or gate.
  3. The use of polythene bag/plastic is prohibited in the school premises.
  4. Cell phones and cameras are strictly forbidden in the school. If anyone brings, it will be confiscated. Students are strictly forbidden to bring objectionable literature, video games, transistor radios/walkman and tape recorders. Money should neither be lent nor borrowed.
  5. Students are not allowed to bring crackers, colours etc. to the school. Burning of crackers and playing with colours are liable to lead to the expulsion of the students from the school.
  6. Care must be taken of the school property. Students must not scratch or spoil the furniture, write on the wall or in any way damage what is provided for their use. Any kind of damage done to the school property will lead to dismissal and the damage has to be rectified by the student.

Student’s Code of Conduct

  1. I belong to this school I shall be loyal to it. It shall be my constant endeavor to uphold and honor the best tradition of my school.
  2. I shall conduct myself with due respect to the school authorities and staff, greet them and obey their legitimate orders.
  3. As cleanliness is next to godliness, I shall be clean and take good care of my books and other belongings. I shall keep my school and it’s surroundings as clean as possible.
  4. I shall be punctual to school.
  5. I shall always be truthful, and never give or take dishonest help.
  6. I shall always be ready to lend a helping hand at home to my parents, brothers and sisters, and school to my teachers and companions.
  7. I shall never use bad language but always speak politely using ‘sorry, thank you’ ‘please’, ‘pardon me’, ‘may I’, ‘Can I’, etc. as I can.
  8. I shall practice tolerance and brotherhood.
  9. I shall not leave the class without the teacher’s permission and the school without the principal’s permission.
  10. I know that writing or scribbling on the walls and furniture is a serious offence. So I shall refrain from it.
  11. I shall work hard and study my lesson regularly without putting of the day’s work for the next day.
  12. I shall not eat or chew anything during the class.
  13. I shall not smoke in the school premises.
  14. I shall not take part in any political activity, or join disruptive groups, knowing fully well that my primary duty is to acquire knowledge and equip myself for my future life.

The medium of instruction being English, the rule of language in the school premises is ENGLISH.
